I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 66s. It has firmware 10.3 on it. I cannot find any information on this version. The latest on this forum is 10.2. Does anyone know what the changes are on version 10.3?

Can you please share a screen capture of the Setup > About page?

Hope this works. I switched on screen capture. Found the screenprint back in the scrn folder and placed it in my OneDrive folder. Strange enough the next time I started up my gps screen capture was switched off again. Is this normal?

Please UPLOAD the image to the forum (see attachment tab at bottom of page when composing new message), no hot linking to external sources. As you can see, this does not always work!

Yes, the screen capture is turned off after every power cycle, prefectly normal.

This link should get you to the screenprint.

That link required users to sign in and/or create an account.

Please upload the image to THIS FORUM.

Surely that has been messed with. The Unit ID is a unique key which is one alternative for map encryption... to lock a map to a device.
I don’t buy that it could be zeros.

It isn't all zeros. But that's what everyone here gets to see after I modified the image.
