I'm wondering whether the barometric altimeter can be disabled (for when you are recording an aircraft flight) ?

If you configure Setup > Altimeter > Barometer Mode = Fixed Elevation, all recorded elevation values should be based on GPS data alone.

As always, you should test and verify to confirm!
