New micro SD card for the Montana 700

Hello,
I am a new owner of a Montana 700. Not a "I" model.
I am going to get a new micro SD card, i have been lazy I know.
My question is: Will the Montana 700 create the required folder structure? I am assuming it will. I am also assuming the 700 Will move/save data there as required, IE, built in map updates.
I haven't read anything in the manual about formatting the MicroSD in the device or on the PC, but I will contiinue to look.
