BirdsEye Satellite Imagery Subscriptions Discontinued?

It looks like, that Garmin silently started to discontinue BirdsEye.

The regular 1 year subscription is marked as discontinued and can't be purchased anymore.

I am not sure, what that means for devices, like Montana, GPSMap or Zumo XT, which have lifetime BirdsEye..

Also select variants are also gone and not available anymore for purchase, for example Germany:

A web search came up with a site that resells Garmin products, which I'm not going to mention or link to because I don't know anything about them, but they say the "Garmin BirdsEye Satellite Imagery US & Canada" product 010-11753-00 was discontinued and replaced with "Garmin BirdsEye Satellite Imagery Retail Card" product 010-11543-00, which is a "new product" and "currently on backorder, expected in 3-4 weeks".

So maybe it is just a re-packaging thing? A new product (with a 33% price increase) will replace it?

And apparently the models that come with lifetime access to BirdsEye are unaffected, yes?

The product numers do not fit it. The product '010-11543-00' would be the regular BirdsEye sat image, while '010-11543-00' is a classic topo raster map (something like my mentiond select variants for germany).

Hm, does that mean, they remove BirdsEye from BaseCamp, but keep it as "BirdsEye Direct" on GPSr? I am confused.

[EDIT]
I guess, it looks like they will disable it in BaseCamp.

Since 65S does not have BirdsEye Direct, what's the best way to get satellite images on to it? I do have ArcGis Pro.

Garmin has done it :-( "BirdsEye Satellite Imagery Subscription V2" Lifetime has beem removed from my Montana 750i. It's not listed, as I don't have any subscription, but previously listed up to 2037 (lifetime). So that's end of the road for BirdsEye and BaseCamp..
