Emailed GARMIN Support, 1st reply was that it works fine and they support it....., I copied and replied with what I read here, and 24 hrs later this is the answer I get:

"I'm sorry, since Map Install is no longer being updated, the issue with maps not being sent to the Garmin folder will not be fixed. We are sorry for the inconvenience and invite you to view our current selection of downloadable map products which can be installed using Garmin Express."

My issue was, I have an older version (PAID FOR) on CD of TOPO Canada and now it's virtually useless to me. I asked for assistance in getting it to work or a new updated/free copy via Garmin Express or even a discount on it...seeing I paid for it once already and it's not my fault they have stopped support for the old install.....but NOPE!!!!! So my $1,000 plus GPS and software means nothing to them. Yeah...I'm a little disappointed!

Garmin surprisingly fixed it. (They told me also, that this won't be fixed)
