It looks like, when using and configuring 'Corner Data Fields', that those saved data fields are not bound to used profile, but instead, they are globally saved and retained, while switching through profiles. Other items, like 'Large Data Field' are being saved within a profile.

Steps to reproduce
1) Switch to map view
2) Use menu to open 'Map Setup'
3) Select 'Dashboard' and choose ''Cordner Data Fields'
4) Go back to map view
5) Configure one of the data fields to 'Accuracy of GPS'
6) Open 'Setup' on main menu
7) Open 'Profiles'
8) Use 'Create Profile' to create a new one and confirm with 'Ok'.
9) Switch to map view
10) Use menu to open 'Map Setup'
11) Select 'Dashboard' and choose ''Cordner Data Fields'
12) Go back to map view
13) Configure the same data field as previous to 'Alarm Timer'
14) Open 'Profile Change' on main menu and choose the profile used before.
15) Switch to map view

What happens: Data field is still set to 'Alarm Timer'
What should happen: Data field is set to 'Accuracy of GPS'

Confirmed.

I forgot about this, this is something that's annoyed me since day one.
They should be profile specific, small data fields change with the profiles if set differently in each profile and I believe the corner data fields should do the same.
Small data fields waste too much screen real estate, they could be half the current size, allowing for more than 4 in the column and still be easily viewable.

Forwarded to Garmin Software engineers for consideration.

Still not profile dependend in firmware 10.80.

Garmin just replied and told me, that this is going to be fixed by the next firmware update, which is currently planned for mid may. (Date may change)

Seems fixed with 13.10, but I had to re-assign the corner data fields one time again, to get it written to profile.
