Question about Courses

So, starting with firmware 10.50, we have a new feature called courses.
GPSrChive > Montana 7x0 > Main Menu > Course Planner has some additional information.

I have a couple of questions. FWICS, Courses are not supported on BaseCamp? Only directly created on Montana and Explore? Also Courses do not have saved pre-planed RPE data, as transfered routes from BaseCamp, correct? So they are always recalculated based on the started activity, which means, on every starting again of a Course, it's always first calculated?
