RTCM not supported by Montana 700 series?

I just noticed, that my GPSMap 276Cx offers RTCM, but my Montana 750i not. Is there any specific reason for that? The predecessor Montana 6xx was also offering that option, also many other Garmin GPSr, so I do wonder, if there is any reason behind this? I am more curious here, as I don't have any external device, to connect to RTCM, to read 'DGPS' data from.

Garmin replied: That was intentionally left out. I can inform our product software engineers to see if they can add this at a later date.

Yes, I suspected it was intentional, but we still don't know why. Perhaps insufficient demand for this feature with previous models? We just don't know...

We have created a case to see if our engineers will be able to add RTCM to a future update. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline as to when this might happen.
Maybe it will be added, maybe never

Garmin replied, that they won't add it.
