inReach SE+ discontinued

I have been told by the regional Garmin stockist that SE+ has been discontinued and cannot be purchased but you can still order directly via Garmin website.

Probably only a matter of time before the Explorer+ is also discontinued, if not already!

Is it because of the inReach mini taking over or something else?
Maybe something new in the pipeline.

I think, Garmin will focus on inReach integration in their own devices with GPSMap and Montana. And a Mini for other devices to pair with.

The SE+ and Explorer+ are actually DeLorme products, and they do not play well with other Garmin products or software, so the writing has been on the wall for a long time....
