When the unit of pressure is set to hectopascal, the display reading of pressure (barometer or ambient pressure) in the data field will show "hPa" or "Pa" ?

It shows 'pa' for me, but I think, it's 'hpa' as a value.

Finally took a few minutes to look into this on my Montana 750i v920:

The Ambient Pressure data field reads: 932.1 mb

After changing the pressure units on the device, the same data field reads:

932.1 Pa when configured for hectopascals - Pa = Pascals, so this display is incorrect. If it were showing Pa, the value would be 93210. The data field is displaying hectopascals, but uses the incorrect Pa abbreviation, which should read hPa.

27.53 hg when configured for inches of mercury - Unable to differentiate from millimeters of mercury (both use same abbreviation). Should read inHg

699.2 hg when configured for millimeters of mercury - Unable to differentiate from inches of mercury (both use same abbreviation). Should read mmHg

Also, my online conversion tool indicates:

932.1 mb = 27.524897 inHg, not 27.53 hg

932.1 mb = 699.13239 mmHg, not 699.2 hg

So it seems there may be some non-conventional rounding occurring here.

Hi.
I compared with my local weather service.
if you are fairly close to sea level and see values such as 932 then it is in hPa. So the unit should show hPa (just like you have written).

If your reading was 932.1 and this is in hPa, the equivalent value for Pa would be 93210.

hecto is for 100 so 1 hPa is 100 Pa.

This seems be fixed, as my value is now being shown with "hPa" instead of "Pa".
