Thanks for your suggestion,

I have toiled all day with various combinations

I have many Garmin's and find their Bluetooth connectivity is flaky to say the least, sometimes they do , sometimes they do not
I find the setup with the iPhone not always straightforward , often need more than one try

The other thing i need is connectivity away from regular Wifi routers when out in the field

Whilst not perfect I have got a result with the iPhone by using its inbuilt Hotspot/ Wifi.
Connecting the 750 to the iPhone by WIFI works no I am pleased to say

Adding the iPhone "network " to the 750 takes longer for the iPhone hotspot to appear on the options
Regular routers appear quickly but the iPhone takes longer, you just have to wait
Any way it works , after a fashion
Thanks

To clarify the adding of the hot spot,
you need to add the SSID ( network name ) of the hot spot manually for the quickest result

We are hoping you can find someone with an Android phone to test with to verify Bluetooth issue is iOS only, or both.

I connected the 750 to an Android device via BTooth and it worked ok
I uninstalled the 750 from the Android and reloaded it on the iPhone 11
I used only BT connection and had to re-register the 750 for GCing

It took 3 attempts
The first two tries, on getting confirmation of registration I panned the map and it crashed
The third time I just hit the search icon. It found new caches but as soon I panned down it went

I then used WiFi both on the house router and the iPhone hotspot. It was fine

So it an iPhone issue. To recap I am using IOS 14.6. The latest version

If anyone has a fix, please.....

Excellent reporting. Now if you could find an iPhone user with a different iOS version to test....

I will report issue to Garmin.

I will see what i can do, this may be difficult.
Unlike Android updates , IOS updates have a very high % of immediate updating

My iPad is not the latest and does not have the same software
It is too old to update
It has IOS 12.5.4
The 750 had been linked to this before

I connected afresh the 750 both for wifi and BT
WiFi was ok but not the BT
I connected the BT ok but as soon as I tried to Register the device it crashed. On the the third try it registered because I did not use the search function together with panning

Btw the connecting of Garmin devices by BT to IOS ( I do not know about Android) creates 2 BT pairings. One is "750T - xxxx device number " and another "750T- LExxxx"
All my Garmin's do this. I don't know why
When reinstalled the 750T last night too the iPad, it would only create the first pairing. I do not know why. It otherwise was worked ok for all the other BT functions

So we have an issue with the IOS platform irrespective of version

Pro temp I will continue with the wifi teathered iphone. ( On that matter I have had to manually add the network SSID)
