One note to add: I thought I finally lost a day recording. It was neither visible in the Current.gpx nor in the archive folder. Now it's in the archive folder. At the same time the unit was behaving "strange" (e.g. not connecting to USB as storage, not powering on when USB plugged in). I powered off and let it laying around for few hours. Now the track is archived. Luckily I have smelled the problem and not decided to remove the batteries to restart the unit.

Few more and the unit runs out of memory. I smell that it will be bricked and need to be sent in to Garmin to fix it then.

It's latest which is offered to me: 3.70
Note: otherwise the files would have no last-modified timestamp

Are the Archived GPX issues still present with current firmware version 4.50 installed?

No, the last big file on my unit is from 17. July 2021
Regarding "bug 20": yes, still persists. Track from yesterday is still in the current.gpx and not yet archived to the dated gpx file.
