If you click the Altimeter, you duplicated the titles of data fields.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Configure 'Altimeter' as Dashboard.
2) Switch to map and click the Altimeter.
3) The Altimeter now opens and you will have two data fields on top, while the Altimeter is on bottom marked as 'Current Activity'.
4) Click once the Altimeter and you can see, that the titles of the two data fields are duplicated.

ConiKost, please retest this after the next firmware update is installed.

I suspect you will no longer be able to reproduce it, but if you can, I need to know!

So you know more than me I guess, you reported that already and it's supposed to be fixed with next firmware?
Do you know any ETA for the release date of next firmware?

Garmin never knows (or advertises) when firmware updates will be published until they actually publish them.

Unfortunately, the only correct answer I can offer to your question is "When it is ready.'

While this is normally the case, I made the experience with the support, that the support sometimes give a date, when it's supposed about to be released

Just open altimeter and touch the screen, the same duplicated data fields will also appear.

OK, I have finally duplicated this behavior. I had to change my Recording Controls 'Auto Start' to 'Off' and delete the current recording data so that there was absolutely no elevation data stored for the Altimeter page to display.


This information has been reported to Garmin.

Thanks, this fits my device here, as I have set 'Auto Start' to 'Off' and no recording data is currently available.
Garmin is also created a ticket for my report.

Garmin replied and said, this will be fixed by the next firmware update.

Problem still exists in latest firmware 8.20.
