Jim Beam, FYI, you can configure the Power button to save screen captures in the Setup > System > Power Button menu, then they can be copied from the device and shared as desired in the future!

I now made some screenshots, but there is not much to see. You have to zoom in the images. (Backgroundlight was set to 100%)

Last image is by pressing the MapLayer button. Only there it is possible to switch the BirdEye on/off.

Just one of many many bugs in 14.80 unfortunately.

Outdoor Maps+ uses Wi-Fi only to download Map data.
I installed the Garmin Explore app on my phone. On the phone, I logged in with an existing Garmin account and paired it with the Montana after which I was able to download imagery. I turned off the bluetooth on my phone and verified that the downloads still come to the gpsr via wifi. I still am not sure why this supposed one time login was necessary to initiate acquisition of satellite imagery. Support centre confirms that I needed to as per the software engineers.

Problem solved with V15.00. Now i can see the menu 👍
