Poor GNSS accuracy? [Bug 8]

I still have both devices, although your post motivated me to get rid of one. I am not comparing them anymore, because if I did, it would probably not look good from the perspective of my mental balance . In some details, the 66sr is better, especially in the track recording, it is more precise. More precise, i.e. the GPS track changes directions quickly according to your movement, and the GPSMAP67 smoothes the line more.

I did extensive research on the Fenix 7, Edge 1040 and the GPSMAP 67. I posted the results as a blog on my site.

I bought a second hand GPSMAP 66sr and I am going to conduct a comparison between the GPSMAPs.

Average error on the GPSMAP 66sr is 0.54 m, on the GPSMAP 67 is 0.74. Circle indicates the CPE. Seems to confirm your finding.
