Please make a short video of the process start to finish and send to the address below along with the GarminDevice.xml file from your GPSMAP 66sr.
We will submit directly to software engineers.

I'll work on that now. They are probably tired of me over at Garmin support because I've been asking so many questions.

I sent one video. The other one was larger than 25MB so I could not send that one. It shows the unit completely locking up.

Video didn't make it through with the empty message and no GarminDevice.xml file.
Maybe upload them to a popular video sharing service and share the links here or via email...

So, to update. After discussion with Garmin, I am going to do a replacement.

So, new device is in.
I am still having issues if I search Near a City. One thing I've noticed and curious for others to try. If you search near a city and do Spell Search (to choose one beyond 10 miles away) does it still work? Mine still locks up. If I choose one of the cities that is scrollable in the list (up to that 10 mile range) it works fine.

OK, that extra information helped us duplicate part of the issue.
When the City name is spelled out, the user is always returned to the Main Menu.
When the city is selected from the scroll menu, it appears to work as intended.
