And the bearing was showing in the nearly opposite direction.
When moving and the unit switches from the 3d compass to the GPS direction the bearing is correct.

That's why I asked if anyone can confirm that and anyone can also confirm that the distance is updating then.

So your issue is not with the compass but rather with the bearing?

We just tested our Montana 750i Compass with all different settings for the Compass, and it always shows North correct, within a couple degrees.

I do not understand what you are seeing that is incorrect.
