Yup, i already wrote back to Garmin, nobody wants to go through a reset every single time there is a firmware update.

Another lie from Garmin. Just checked, the device turns off the same way as before the reboot. The problem with the firmware is obvious.

Thanks for checking, i couldn't convince myself to make the reset, it takes so much effort to set up the unit again.

Friends, here's what else we managed to find out.
Hard reset gave nothing (enter + page). But I also tried this: I removed the SD card, reset it through the navigator menu and BirdsEye Direct started working, quickly, clearly, as it should be. I inserted the SD card again, the device turned off when I tried to download via BirdsEye Direct. I removed the card again and BirdsEye Direct is working again. Without a SD card, BirdsEye Direct works, it does not work with a SD card.
Who has any thoughts on this matter, maybe we can think of something?

Друзья, вот что ещё удалось выяснить.
Жёсткий сброс ничего не дал ( enter+page). Но я попробовал ещё вот что : извлёк карту сд, выполнил сброс через меню навигатора и BirdsEye Direct заработал, быстро, чётко, как должно быть. Снова вставил сд карту, прибор при попытке скачать через BirdsEye Direct отключился. Снова извлёк карту, BirdsEye Direct снова заработал. Без сд карты BirdsEye Direct работает, с сд картой не работает.
У кого какие мысли на этот счёт, может , что нибудь придумаем?
