Apprently Garmin has no interest in taking me serious. And the say, that I am unwilling to listen to engineers recommendation. I am getting from the engineers only things like "Use a different sd card" or "Try a different map". This is hilarious. I even send them a BaseCamp route, which reproduce that issue. They seems to ignore that.

Still present in 8.40, also I would be maybe a little bit faster. But I am not sure.

Still happens in 8.50.

Still very slow with firmware 9.20.

Garmin replied and said, they were unable to reproduce that and closed the internal ticket. It looks like, no change will be made here..

Surprisingly, support replied today, that they were able to reproduce and forwarded to their engineers.

Finally! It's now much better with Firmware 10.80 :-) It's not perfect, but user experience is now much better and it does not hang for many seconds. I would say, this is fixed.
