course created from route not working

Played around a bit with the 66st (9.90 firmware).

If a course is created from a route
Main menu - route planner - select/enter a route - press menu - save as couese.

When this Course is then edited from the course planner using Roads & trails , it will never pre calculate the course.

I think this is incorrect, usually the course should pre calculate its new path after an update, in essence the route will never be anything else than a route.
