Imported Routes can't be used in GPS simulation mode [Bug 46]

Still not able to simulate with firmware 13.10

Garmin DriveSmart 86 MT-D (FW 6.80, HW V8, GPS 9.00.50, 32GB SD)
Garmin Montana 750i (FW 19.00, HW V6, GPS 2.90, Touchscreen 85.07, 64GB SD)

No simulation of BaseCamp routes with firmware 14.80

I am really missing that function..

Garmin replied, that this won't be fixed. I am really disappointed.

Their reply:

The montana will simulate to a point, but we do not have an option to simulate an entire route.

As expected, nothing changed with 16.50
