US speed limit is being used in Europe (Automotive dashboard)

Unread post by ConiKost »

With firmware 10.50, I noticed, when using the automotive dashboard, it now shows the us speed limit sign, but not the european version anymore.

I would really like to have a screen capture or two here, especially an older one with the correct sign type, to forward to the Garmin software team....

See the official Garmin product image, which shows, how it was looking for me up to firmware 9.20.
Also attaching screenshot, how it looks like currently.

We have requested further clarification from Garmin software engineers as to the nature of this change, if it was intentional for some reason, or if it is indeed a bug.

Thank You!

I have no idea why, but after a second master reset, it's now correctly showing the european speed limit.

Huh, well I guess sometimes one master reset just isn't enough?

Does your Montana still show the European version, as my new 700i with 13.20 and CN Europe NT2023.10 shows the US speed limit version?
