There was talk about the possibility of converting Garmin maps (non-commercial) into files supported by Two Nav devices about 12 years ago, I experimented with .mp and .img files, at that time I had to manually edit the icons, the overall effect was poor, I guess there was no routing, there was a limitation in the size of the area. Nowadays, a lot has certainly changed, maps based on Osm and other independent creators are available.
I think nowadays anyone can convert a non-commercial Garmin map to a .MPVF file on their own.

HI, do you happen to know which software can make this conversion?
Are *.MPVF vector format? it is not said in twonav manual.

Re: TwoNav Terra experiences?
I am resurrecting an old thread because I am also considering a TwoNav Terra GPS unit (64gb).
I feel that it will be a lighter and more compact alternative to my Garmin H1, and have a larger screen.
In the two or so years since the original post, have any members used or have further opinions on the TwoNav units?
I also do not know whether they have improved the spec. within the last two and a half years, so any information on that would be useful.
thanks
