Seeing some weird display behaviour with my Montana 700.
Software Version 24.70
GPS Software Version 2.90
Display SW Version 85.07
Sometimes it's displaying what appears to be icons that seem to scroll through on the screen.
It appears to happen at random intervals, often about two to three times in a 12 hour period, restarting the device seems to cure it, without a restart it just seems to keep doing it, about 20 minutes is the longest I've left it before restarting.
It only does it with one particular mapset, one I've been using for many years on my Garmin Montana 6xx, 7xx & 276CX devices without issue until now.
The free Australian Topo maps called Shonkymaps. I have downloaded a 'fresh' copy and tried it, just in case there was some sort of corruption with the copy I have been using for years, but the fresh copy doesn't solve the issue, and it's MD5, SHA1 and SHA256 checksums are exactly the same for the new and older copy so I don't believe it's a file corruption issue.
I have noticed the internal file structure of the new 700 is quite different to the older device's file structure, and I imagine it's getting these icons from somewhere in the files/folders in the root directory.
Though why it's displaying them on the screen at random times is a mystery.
Anyway, the video will explain it better than I can:

Any ideas?
EDIT: I see it still has the random shutdown issue the older 700 devices had, seems to happen more often if it's been running for a long period (all night or all day) without the screen being touched, sometimes when getting home and going to save the track it'll shutdown once the screen is tapped, if the screen is used multiple times throughout the journey it doesn't seem to shut itself down when going to save the track.
Also seems random when it happens as sometimes it does and the majority of the time it doesn't, even if the screen hasn't been touched for many hours, other times I'll get back to the vehicle and notice it's turned itself off for whatever reason.
Still has the same display bug if it's in an AMPS powered mount and the mount loses power for an instant like when starting a vehicle, the brightness will go to 100% once power is restored, same as the 6XX series and the 276CX does and also like them, it's random and doesn't seem to be repeatable.
