I'm afraid, it's not fixed in 5.90.
After 5 days of hiking, back home, I synchronized F6Pro, but on Garmin Connect I found not only that, but also all new GPSMap 67 activities. Wi-Fi was off... Now, I removed all saved networks, just in case.

So...
- You are absolutely certain Wi-Fi was disabled on the GPSMAP 67?
- Was Bluetooth also disabled?
- Was the GPSMAP 67 connected to any computer via USB?

Re: Unit connects to Wi-Fi when Wi-Fi is disabled [Bug 7]
Wi-Fi and BT were disabled, as always, only fenix 6 was connected to PC - to synchronize and charge. GPSMap67 was powered on, but still in the bag. So, you know, I was really suprised, opening Garmin Connect web site and founding activities from both devices. And GPSMap67 synchro date was before fenix 6...
I checked Wi-Fi state on GPSMap, enabled it, and removed all saved networks.
And then checked [Bug 7] state on forum, I remembered there was such a Wi-Fi bug topic.
I have to mention - before the trip I have only one, home network registered. And I didn't noticed unwanted connections or battery power leaks.
The second network was added few days ago in the hotel. But I'm sure Wi-Fi was disabled.

I can confirm, that this bug is still there. The weather forecast gets updated when Wifi is turned off and the CPE file gets also an update although the Wifi is not on.

Yes, the same GPSMap67 behaviour on my side. Wi-Fi was disabled and none connection icon was visible.
And two Wi-Fi networks were registered (I have two separate networks at home).

I can also confirm that this bug is back in 5.90. The device will connect to Wi-Fi after power up even though Wi-Fi is disabled. And the Wi-Fi connection is kept intact even though Wi-Fi is set to disabled in the Setup Menu.

Re: Unit connects to Wi-Fi when Wi-Fi is disabled [Bug 7]
Raised this issue again with Garmin (apparently they closed the case when my previous GPSMAP 67 was exchanged due to the layer on the buttons wearing off ), and a new case has been created. According to their own tests it only happens when Wi-Fi has been setup using Garmin Express. If you later delete the Wi-Fi connection from Express (but keep it on the device), Wi-Fi stays disabled. That probably explains why I thought it was fixed at some point...
