Garmin Map ID

Please visit the Garmin Map ID page and submit map data from your Garmin devices for maps not yet listed!

For Garmin Vector Maps (*.IMG):

1. Open IMGInfo program:

2. Select desired Garmin Vector Map file:

3. Drag and drop map file to IMGinfo window:

4. Create a screen capture {CTRL+ALT+Print Screen} containing map details shown below:

5. Reply below and upload your screen capture.



For Garmin POI Maps (*.GPI):

1. Please share your Garmin POI Maps (*.GPI) with us via email.

2. For Garmin POI Maps (*.GPI) too large to email, please contact us for further instructions.

Btw, do you really want images? The Text out of IMG Info can be also directly copied and could be placed in a spoiler? Sounds more usefull to me IMHO.

I just assumed images would be easier for everyone, less steps. Plus the text can not accidentally become corrupted if it is part of an image. BTW, some of the maps we checked created more than 60k lines of text. I do not need all of that!

Also, your screen captures were neatly trimmed, but that is not required. So long as the first page of data is captured all necessary information should be present!
