Autodeleting Wi-Fi Connection [Bug 20]
If I go to geocaching settings, try to update lists, select wifi, then try to connect to a wifi and the connection fails, then the wifi connection is deleted from the list.
Is there a way to avoid this behavior? It's kind of annoying.

How did you first add the Wi-Fi access point?
Should use Garmin Express to add new Wi-Fi.

Re: Autodeleting Wi-Fi Connection [Bug 20]
I used Garmin Connect for the initial setup with the phone, and I used Garmin Explore to add the WIFI connection. This seems to also be possible through the Garmin Connect app.
I don't find Garmin Express in the Google Play Store for some reason. Perhaps it's not compatible with my android version (Android 11)?

Re: Autodeleting Wi-Fi Connection [Bug 20]
I noticed that this is after the device goes into expedition mode.
When I then go to wifi settings and try to connect to the wifi, it says it failed to connect and deletes the connection.
After a fresh restart of the device, I could turn the AP off, making the WIFI completely inaccessible, and it still doesn't delete the connection.
(I noticed that Garmin Express is for Windows and/or Mac, which I don't have.)

Not having Garmin Express is setting yourself up for heartache and disappointment.
You can also setup Wi-Fi on some devices in Garmin Connect and/or Explore apps on your smartphone.

Re: Autodeleting Wi-Fi Connection [Bug 20]
The problem isn't that I can't set up the wifi. I set it up and it works just fine, but if it for some reason fails to connect the connection will be deleted even though it's correct.

We are currently unable to duplicate this behavior with our GPSMAP 67.
Anyone else able to replicate?

Re: Autodeleting Wi-Fi Connection [Bug 20]
You should be able to replicate it with these steps (2 and 3 are probably not necessary) :
1. Add the wifi connection.
2. Power off the device.
3. Power on the device.
4. Setup -> Expedition Mode -> Prompted
5. Press the power button until the "Enter Expedition Mode?" question appears.
6. Select Expedition Mode.
7. Press the power button to wake up the device.
8. Setup -> Wifi -> Select the previously stored network and press ENTER.
9. Select Connect
10. A message saying "Failed to connect to NetworkName" appears. You can only select OK at this point. Select OK.
11. The network is deleted from the list.

This happened to me today as well
I was trying to document the “failed PQ download procedure” To answer Garmin support
See other post. “GC problems”
Could only get back wifi through G-connect app. Will checkout through G Exp
