Just heard the SR has been discontinued, is this true? Would explain everywhere literally being sold out in the UK even Garmin themselves..

I spoke to someone on Garmin Support Chat and they said it. Don't know how true it is, but apparently the 65s isn't discontinued according them which doesn't stack up.

It is available in Poland.
A year ago, it was also not available anywhere, I waited two months for mine.
You can still buy the 66sr on the Garmin website as well.

So I noticed on german Garmin website and on some other german website, that you have to wait 5-8 weeks to get it delivered. So maybe they just have some delivery problems in some regions.

Yes, I suspect even Garmin is not immune to the now-all-too-common 'supply chain issues' phenomenon.

Yes, they have. I waited for my last Montana 7x0 replacement multiple month.

Maybe something is true. The german Garmin Shop removed the option to buy the 66st, but it's not listed as discontinued. Same applies for 66sr.
