Garmin 66sr Firmware 3.30
I noticed a difference between unplugging the Garmin from a pc/laptop and the original Garmin powered mount. Unplugging from the powered mount the GPS gives the opportunity to leave the system on or off.
Unplugging from a pc, the system powers off immediately. No operator intervention is possible.
Is this on purpose, or a bug.
After disconnect from pc/laptop system powers off.

Re: After disconnect from pc/laptop system powers off.
The computer connection is via USB port, and is a data connection. (When disconnected, the assumption is that data files have been edited, added, removed, etc., and a reboot is required to index any changes made)
The Powered Mount is power only, and is not provided via the USB port. (When disconnected, the assumption is that you are simply removing the device from the powered dock with intention to continue using it, so the option is provided)
Normal operation.
