"Active Route" very slow [Bug 43]
Can anyone confirm, that the function "Active Route" is very slow?
It takes about 3 seconds to open that, if an active route is currently started for navigation.
Even navigating through the list is just slow, takes again about 2 seconds until I can start moving the list to see more entries.
The slowness doesn't seem to depend on the length of the route.
I think, this is more a software issue, as the older GPSMap 276Cx has such function too, but is way faster despite having a much slower hardware.

I just tried it with a route. Near instantaneously for both opening and scrolling. Didn’t time it but opened in maybe a second. No discernible delay scrolling.

@ ConiKost
Can you test again in a different profile, preferably a profile you have not made any changes to, and report your findings?
Perhaps there are some specific settings and/or map configurations that are contributing to the delay you are experiencing.

What type of route did you planed?
What you write is, what I would expect.
I just switched to the Automotive profile, as I was still using the default Recreation profile, which I haven't so far used, so it's default, I guess. Problem still exists. Nothing really changed.
I have a video, which I send to Garmin as a demo and they created an internal ticket for it.
I can send you via PM a link, I don't want to show it in public, as it could contain some information, which I don't want to show in public.

So Garmin have accepted the video you sent and created a ticket, correct?

I am not sure, if they accepted something?
After I wrote the mail with the YouTube link, i got that reply.
So I guess, they will at least try to reproduce?
So, if you guys plan a longer route, let's say 300km, 'Active Route' is still fast and can be opened fast?
It doesn't matter, if it's a planned route from BaseCamp or via find A->B route.
I have only to correct, that on small routes, it's a little bit faster, but still slow.

Re: "Active Route" very slow [Bug 43]
The first route was only a few mile but enough turns to need to scroll.
I did a second route of 800 miles. Yes, it took about 4 seconds to bring up the active route page and then a few more seconds before it would scroll. Both times automotive mode.

Re: "Active Route" very slow [Bug 43]
Thank you. So you can confirm.
If I also make a very small route, so I don't even need to scroll in 'Active Route' it's opening fast.
