I just watched this video:
The video shows how to use an Explore account to create a GPS track and send it to the Overlander.
I found that video searching to find out if it is possible to create and send tracks to an Overlander using Basecamp. One very serious feature, for me, omitted in the Explore mapping program, is routable trails. From what I've seen in videos the preloaded maps on the Overlander are 24K TOPOs. For Basecamp that meant routable trails. Is this available in the online Explore mapping software?
Thanks!
Mike

Overlander and Basecamp
The only feeling better than needing something on the trail and having it, is having it and not needing it!

I hope you didn't spend too much time searching for that video on the web as it is also available at GPSrChive > Overlander > Garmin Video.
To the best of my knowledge, Garmin Explore does not have any routable maps. Personally, I've been very disappointed with Explore (in general) and find it sorely lacking in more aspects than I care to share right now....
