Hello,
I noticed that while my GPSMap62s recorded always one track per GPX file, in the GPX files I get from my GPSMap66st there are multiple tracks (which makes the usage of these files a bit annoying for some software).
Does anybody know why it sometimes starts a new track? I only save my tracks at the end of a walk, but still find multiple tracks inside a GPX file. Is it possible it starts a new track every time I change profile?
best regards
Wolfgang

Might be easier for someone to help after they can see the GPX file(s). Is it possible for you to share them?

I have your tracklog, and can see the four distinct tracks within. Do you have 'auto pause' enabled on your GPSr?

No - auto pause is not enabled.
What I did during my walk was change profiles. I have one profile for walking with power safe enabled and one for Geocaching with slightly different settings.
Need to check when I am out next time if profile changes correspond with starting of a new track.

Perhaps the profiles you were switching between have different tracklog recording settings?
