Can't power on [Bug 54]

Unread post by gruen »

I can't power on the GPSMAP 66 after disconnecting the USB cable when I have Pressure Trending set to "Save Always" and use USB data transfer longer than 10 minutes.

For power on I must reconnect USB power and press multiple the power on button.

Sometimes in expedition mode with v3.00 - i also cannot power on the unit.

3.10 is not avaliable in my country.

It would be great, if expedition mode automatically does not start after 2 minutes.
Better way would be automatically expedition mode starts after a user selected time between 2 and 20 minutes.

After expedition mode was on, all satellites are lost, and i have to use gps off and on again to find satellites
This happens every time, the unit is awaked from expedition mode
Is this a software bug, or do i have to send my unit to garmin

With 3.10 and!! Gps fw 2.60
Expedition mode is now working fine after wake up - unit can now find a fix after wake up from expedition mode
With 3.10 and gps 2,50, the unit could not find any satellite after wake up from expedition mode
