Using map screen with geocache dashboard
If I select a target GC the purple line appears. That is ok
However if I want to stop the navigation and use menu>stop navigation the whole unit shuts down
On reboot the previous target is not selected ( as I would expect)
this has manifested itself several times today and earlier
If I have NO DASHBOARD, the unit works as expected

Have not yet reported to Garmin, which is the best please to report please

I have just updated to v2.80 from this site
No change to issue

If you open the Common Issue page, you will see this is Crash #3, which is Orange in color, indicating Garmin is aware of the issue!

If you would like to report to Garmin, instructions on how to do so are listed at the top of that page as well.

This issue has reportedly been resolved. Let me know!

I updated to 2.80 last week, but experienced the stop nav problem yesterday. I stopped it, went to the geocache page, and when I went back to it, it turned my 66s off. I turned it back on, and it did resume navigation to the cache that I had originally stopped. It only happened once, and I haven't been able to duplicate it since.

It happens when you want to "stop nav" and you have a dashboard selected in the map screen b-day geocache dash board
If you select From the map screen menu>map setup>dashboard>none then you don't get shutdown

" Not come across this before!!. Please send down load from unit... We will escalate. Can be corrected by software..."
