Too bad I didn't think of that. My replacement unit isn't so bad and I can't get it reliably, with the old one, a video would have been a piece of cake.

Maybe somebody can explain a procedure to show that bug every time.

I have sometimes the bug, sometimes not.

I will do some testing this week, but I do not yet know what the results will be!

Duplicated first attempt with firmware v3.10 and GPS chipset software v2.70.

Posted as GPSMAP 66 > Common Issues > Bug 68.

Reported to Garmin.

Do you get any feedback from garmin by reporting the bugs?

Sometimes, only if they have more questions, but if they can duplicate the issue, usually not.

I had an email from Garmin support today. They said a number of people have reported this issue and that they are working on a fix.
