How to get a full tide-screen using blue chart with cursor to scroll to a spezific time?
Now - the screen is so tiny and no scrolling option

The vista hcx was great - it had this function already years ago

Already the gpsmap 76 had a full display with cursor option for the time scrolling

Where is it located on the 66?

We all know the GPSMAP 7x series are dedicated marine units while the GPSMAP 6x series are geared more toward land based activities.

Having said that, if on your GPSMAP 66 you Press (Find) > [Tides] > (Enter) > {Make Selection} > (Enter) > (Menu) > [Review Point] > (Enter) you will see a similar display.

Here there is no time scrolling, but you can press (Menu) and show/hide the chart as well as change the date for the tide display.

Do note; as listed in the GPSMAP 66 Common Issues page as Bug 27, the Tides display chart does have some scaling issues Garmin have acknowledged but have not corrected as of firmware version 3.10.

Tide can be in the bretagne 14-16 Meters - so you walk to an island or you swim or ....
