Organising Routes on device

Unread post by pedigree1 »

Hi, apologies if that this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything. Has anyone got a way of organising routes on the device? The 66s can hold 250 routes but to find the one I want I have to scroll down a long list until I get there, is that the end of it? If I could group routes into folders that would be helpful. For example, if I go on a multi-day hike it would be useful to separate my main routes from my foul weather alternative routes, currently they are all just lumped in together. Thanks.

I do it a little different.
If I am planning a week or so in Germany I only load those routes I need.
Each route has a name that is easy to find see example below.

This is done the same way if I am Geocaching in those areas.
Also have different SD cards I keep different country routes and Geocaches on.
Belgium, Holland and Germany
That way I do not need to keep 50 to 100 plus routes or Geocaches with me.
All based on where I am going at the time.

Thanks for that. I do similar, only loading relevant routes, but sometimes it can still be a long list. However, I hadn't thought of putting routes on an SD card. I will have a look at that top tip.
