Garmin sorted it for me. It took a few telephone calls and emails but actually they had sorted it already, they just had not given me the proper instructions on what they had done and what I had to do. Essentially, they have given me another 25000 sqK credit but that means downloading everything again. A bit time consuming.
I am not that impressed by the map resolution; it is fine between 300m and 80m but below 50m it is poor and above 500 very difficult to read the small words on the map. It will probably be OK for my purpose but I have also ordered the miroSD for the whole of Britain (V2) as I have been told this was the new release and would be mainly vector mapping.

Maybe you can post some side by side screen captures comparing the two versions in a future post so others can see the difference!
