Re: Europe TopoActive routable or not?

Maybe garmin disabled routing by car, to make people use/buy city navigator maps instead for car routting? From my post above: This agrees with the information I have from Garmin: That TopoActive mapping is intentionally not routable by automobile due to the fact that they can not guarantee OSM tra...

Re: logging settings are not followed when GPS signal is lost or off

It may be (I am guessing here) that the engineers decided that when logging is active but a satellite signal is not, they want to add a new 'good track point' to the log as soon as possible, and logging at the default trip computer rate (1Hz) ensures that a valid track point will be added ASAP once ...

Re: GPSMAP 66s freezes when scrolling on map

Wow, those are some nice maps!

Verified and duplicated without any difficulty on my GPSMAP 66, but not on other Garmin GPSr I also tested with.

Posted to the GPSMAP 66 Common Issues page Crash #7.

Report sent to Garmin.

Re: GPSMAP 66s freezes when scrolling on map

OK, now if you can test with any other similar map to see if it still occurs, so we can determine if perhaps it is something to do with the map you are using....
