Nail, please double check all other maps that are enabled and disable them all, then retest. It is possible that another enabled map may be using a different projection causing the display to be stretched vertically.

Do you have the GPX track file from each device?

Garmin maps that are downloaded are locked to a specific device. Garmin maps sold on data cards are locked to the card and can be swapped from one device to another. Sounds like the data card that came with the 66sr may have included a map locked to the device, not the card.

I own a 66sr and a 67 and so I also compared them to see. Looking at the satellite page the accuracy of the 66SR is much higher (1.8m vs 4.8m) BUT as I'm walking along the actual accuracy of the 67 seems the same. I wonder if the lower accuracy displayed is actually just a problem with the displaye...

This crash is still present at software version 4.70 We are unable to reproduce with version 4.70 installed. Can you please retest and verify results? Please share a video that also shows the firmware version on the Setup > About page for submission to Garmin if you can still reproduce. Thank you!

What are the firmware and GPS software versions?

With firmware 4.70 and GPS software 2.46 most users are reporting indicated accuracy equal to or better than the 66sr.
