If you can see the device in Explorer when connected to your computer, but no files are present, something has gone very wrong. Does the GPSr function properly when disconnected?

It has been 4 months now since the last firmware release, so one could expect another release very soon. However, we will only know what has changed after we install and test it!

We are also aware that many users cut a section of the blister pack that most microSD cards are sold in for this purpose. Very thin and durable, this material will conform to the shape of the batteries and hold this button in.

Of course, in so doing, each of us assumes all risks involved.

The 'Bearing' indicator only appears when actively navigating. It does not point North, it points toward the destination.

The GPSr should have prompted you that a new update was available when powering the unit on and allowed you to decide if you wanted to install it now or later.

Do you not remember seeing that screen?

Changes made from version 2.20 to 2.30:
  • Added support to change NMEA baud rate.

I would strongly urge you to not delete anything you didn't put there! There are several maps that are part of the TopoActive setup. You need them all!

At some point you will be required to add a microSD card to be able to download all map data. Might want to go ahead and do that now, move all your unique data to it, and free up as much internal memory on the GPSr as possible. That is how I like to run my Garmin GPSr. Remember, high speed cards do ...

For clarification, are you pressing Where To? > Stop Navigation once you arrive at the previously navigated to geocache coordinates? Or is the GPSr stopping the navigation without input from you once you have arrived at the coordinates?
