  • Power on the Astro 320.
  • Open 'Setup > About'.
  • The device and GPS software versions are displayed along with additional e-label regulatory information.
 
 
Firmware Installation
    Garmin Express

      Device updates for your Astro 320 are managed with the Garmin Express computer application.

      • Connect the Astro 320 to your computer using a suitable USB cable.
      • Open the Garmin Express application and choose your device from the menu.
      • Select desired updates and follow the prompts as directed to complete installation.
    Manual Updates
    • Download and extract the desired *.GCD firmware update.
    • Rename *.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD.
    • Connect the Astro 320 to your computer and enter Mass Storage Mode.
    • Copy GUPDATE.GCD to [GPSr]\Garmin\GUPDATE.GCD.
    • Disconnect and reboot the Astro 320.
    • When prompted to install the new firmware version, select 'Yes'.
    • The Astro 320 will restart automatically after the firmware update is complete.

      Suppression de la fréquence 155.125MHz.
      Dans le cadre de la mise aux normes franÇaises des appareils de chasse, la mise à jour - 4.40 - des Astro 320 doit être obligatoirement effectuée par les utilisateurs.
      Cette mise à jour supprimera la fréquence 155.125 MHz, jusqu’à maintenant intégrée pour des raisons techniques et de distribution au niveau Européen.
      Seule la fréquence haute 155.600 MHz est utilisable légalement en France et ce dans le cadre d’une souscription à l’association ACUFA.
      L’ACUFA et la société GARMIN travaillent en étroite collaboration avec les différents organismes d’Etat concernés, pour permettre aux utilisateurs, des appareils Garmin de chasse, de bénéficier de nouvelles fréquences.
      Cette mise à jour est obligatoire. GARMIN décline toutes responsabilités en cas de sanctions pénales, due à l’utilisation d’appareils qui ne seraient pas aux normes.
