Routes

A route consists of a series of coordinates listed in a specific sequence, must include a start and finish location, and may include additional points in between. Routes are displayed as colored segments ('lines') between each pair of points in the sequence provided. The path between these points can vary based on routing preferences and available map data. BaseCamp can calculate a route between two or more waypoints. Routes can be created directly in BaseCamp, transferred from a Garmin GPSr, or imported as a stand alone file.
