No issues with Beidou for me either.

Accuracy stabilizes to 6 ft after around 30s, with up to date CPE data. Which is around the same time as before the update.

The amount of time between when the device is powered on until it displays the best possible GNSS estimated accuracy depends on many variables. The amount of time since list power off event, distance moved during the power off time frame, and CPE status are all big contributing factors. User location, satellite constellation geometry and any obstructions between the two are also important to consider.

One addition to the release notes btw, based on a post on Garmin's GPSMAP 67i forum on:

Improved features related to Outdoor Maps+ being made available for Europe (emphasis mine)

Garmin's Outdoor Maps+ product page also has been updated with the additional coverage.

Applied ballistics app. That’s great for shooters I guess Garmin, but what about some of the other suggestions people have submitted or fixing some of the many bugs on this device. Once I asked for an altimeter alarm. I know I’ll never see that one! We get a shooting app but still can’t have two data fields on the map page.

I find that I have more GPS and Galileo satellites than before this update, I need to check if the position is improved. I haven't had the chance to try it hiking.

My experience with GPSMAP firmware 8.30 and GPS software 11.02 is that I have 2 - 3 more GPS and Galileo satellites with greater dual band signal strength. My estimated GPS accuracy remains at 6 feet. However, I believe that could be the result of Garmin's software code writers not permitting the unit to display an actual accuracy less than 6 feet.

After updating to 8.30, I noticed deviations on the map of up to 20 meters from the location.
According to the device, I should stand on the neighbor's property.
This is how the map shows me.
Daily mileage 0 meters.
The device is on the windowsill. 15 minutes.
Multi-GNSS and multi-band.
Accuracy 1.80 meters.
CPE: Current

I didn't notice anything like this before the update.

I haven’t noticed any change in my acquisition time, accuracy, position or satellites displayed on my 67i. No improvement no performance issues. I think 8.30 was mainly for the ballistics app, not much else.

Yeah that and support for the Europe coverage of Outdoor Maps+.

Did you try this in a more open space as well? I can imagine that putting the unit on a window sill will result in less accuracy due to reflections of the signal on walls and windows.
