Etrex 22x - Unable to calibrate compass

Hello All , I having used the device and now want to calibrate compass , it's a no show .
goto compass
press menu
no calibrate compass ...
Undoubtedly it is one of those items that has to be done at first power on .
Facing that ...
What files do I want to save off ? (I've backed up the whole tree just recently)
How do I reset the whole thing back to be as first turn on ?
Then what files CAN I place back onto the file system ?

If you check the Specifications page at GPSrChive > eTrex x2x you will discover that the eTrex 22x is not equipped with a digital compass.

@GPSrChive , Yes I see that and it says it uses the GPS facilities for a compass .
I reason I need a Compass is that the map display is too small to see & does NOT give large enough prompting of a direction to way points along a route .
I am a bit poor sighted & was hoping to use this device to guide me close to the markers for my property .
Is there a way to get large enough pointer to show me the direction to a way point ?
and a way to know that I am close to the supposed location .

The compass page should still do this for you, but only while you and the device is in motion.

I like to use the compass page with the 'Distance To Next' or 'Distance To Destination' data field displayed.

Configure Setup > Heading > Go To Line (Pointer) to Bearing (Large) to see the largest pointer available on the Compass page while navigating.
