Overall Odometer

Is there a way to reset the overall odometer to zero, not the trip odometer. This question is for my 66 and a friend's 62.

Since I posted this question 20 have viewed it , but there's no responses, perhaps because the question isn't clear enough. May I ask, has the question been understood? Should I explain it in other terms?

Garmin removed the reset of odometer on many devices a while back, you could vent your request here

Why they did so I have no idea
