I noticed a performance problem. This only occurs with firmware 13.20 and 13.10. If I do downgrade back to 10.90, it's solved. It can be easly reproduced, when I do set Map View -> Menu -> Map Setup -> Advanced Setup -> Text Size -> Land Cover = Large.

Once being set to 'Large', the map redraw becomes very slow and even with active naviation, the map redraw becomes much slower. Can anyone reproduce?

It can be especially seen on higher zoom levels. For example switching from 80m zoom level to 200m zoom level takes about 7-8 seconds, while with 10.90, this only takes 1-2 seconds.

Generally, I have the impression, that map redraw is faster with 10.90 than 13.20 or 13.10.

I am running firmware 13.20 and made the "large" setting as you suggested and experimented zooming in and out using the +/- and also with finger pinching but the map redraw response is almost immediate. The longest latency I had was about a second. I cannot see any performance hit you are describing.

I am not able to reproduce with 14.80 anymore.

This should be noted as a bug, as it was officially fixed with firmware 14.80. Changelog "Fixed possible slow map drawing when using large text sizes." fits this.
