It looks like we can only choose between 1 large or 4 small data fields. Unlike the Oregon, we can't have 2 data fields. Or did I miss something?

Hmmmm, I see where they added the Large Data Field in firmware 3.30, but I do not see any mention of a two data field dashboard, and I do not have my Montana with me to check it right now. Will update my reply again later.

UPDATE!

Feature Request #44 (in the common issues page) from June of 2012 requested a two data field dashboard for the Montana, and like pretty much every other feature request, Garmin declined.

Yes, four data fields in maps, or only ONE .............. not two.

I wonder if in the old days it was two?
Maybe not.
