Automatic screen lock feature does not work [Bug 55]

It seems if the backlight is turned down 100% the screen lock does not work. The screen stays open to touch. If the light is on just a small amount and when it times out ( 15 sec etc) it will lock.

I see the same.
Also the screen lock does not work if the backlight is set to stay on.

I can confirm here. In order to trigger, it's important, to disable Setup -> Display -> Battery Save.
Setting Backlight to 0% makes lock not working after specified timeout.
Backlight >0% works and devices locks after timeout.

Just a clarification to my above post.
It's the auto screen lock function that doesn't work when the backlight timeout is set to stays on, even though it can be set to on.
My mistake understanding how that setting's been programmed to work.
Tapping the lock icon on the Status page locks the screen at any brightness level.

Current release 8.40 not fixed. (Makes sense, as this was very shortly reported, so I guess, we will have to wait)

Can anyone confirm, that firmware 9.20 broke that feature completely?
Screen look does not work anymore for me. It does not matter, if backlight is set to 0% or more than 0%.
