Hi

I use http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ to download map for my country due to Garmin doesn't support it anymore.
But the some fonts changes to ?(question sign) after download (As the screen shot has attached) while it was correct before download.

Please select Iran map and check it out and let me know how to solve this problem.

Yes I have checked them but I never find any Garmin GPS map.

I found just this http://www.kleineisel.de/blogs/index.ph ... 11/05/iran but it's old and not complete.
But the website owner mentioned : A great difficulty in creating this map was that the Persian script can practically not be converted into Latin letters automatically. Therefore, Openstreetmap objects that do not have a name in the Latin alphabet (eg "name: en" or "name: de" tags) are not displayed correctly.

I'm sorry that I can't help with your font issue - but as an alternative you could try the OpenTopoMap of Iran available as an IMG download here: https://garmin.opentopomap.org/#iran

I was going to suggest this may be a text conversion issue. Looks like you have discovered this is in fact the issue already. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
